The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given maps are an illustration of a site of a Beechwood farm in 1950 and the same site till date.
Overall, although some features remained the same, the site has become more advanced with addition of extra features.
In 1950, the river is flowing from northwest to southeast of the map and the main road is at northeast side of the map, attached to the track and there were fruit tress alongside the road and track. Soft fruits and vegetables area attached one side to river and other side to track and there were farmhouse, Barns and Chickens is at southeast of the map, just north of southeastern river and sheep farm is located at northeastern side of site.
Presently,track is transform into road. The main changes is that sheep farm vanished and other facility has been built, Parking add to the starting and end of the road and camping field and solar system installed in that area: moreover, holiday cottages replaces barn and barn is at the end of two converging roads. and other site remaind the same.
