The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The map illustrates the site of a farm looked in 1950 and at the present times.
Overall, the site had been restructured compared to older ones. Many new places was constructed in the same area of a farm. Major changes was occur in the sheep area which were located beside the main road in 1950. In that area a new parking is now available connecting with main road and another parking was at east side connecting to road, a huge camping field and solar panels at north-east corner of farm. The fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables areas were remained unchanged but at present time a farm shop is built in fruit trees area. There was also a new barn constructed at corner attached of triangular road beside chickens and old barn is replaced by holiday cottages.
Almost every area of a farm looks different than it looked it in 1950.
