The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The layout illustrates by comparion in the development of beechwood farm in 1950 and today. Overall, the area of sheep is replaced for tourist welcome and the areas for farming and poultry remains same in today's site.
In 1950, the area on the north side was for keeping sheep, which is now divided with parking, campiing field and trees are growen for the tourist on the west- north and solar panels as well an extra parking is built for more visitors near the road in the east. The track are now expanded with road leading to a barn in the middle of the road at south side.
Today, on the east- south side of the road barn is relocated and hoilday cottages is build for more indivuials to stay. Whereas, the chickens encloser,farmhouse remains same at the south side corner. On the west , soft fruits and vegatables farming are still in same position, but in fruit framing area a fram shop is built for the tourist to come and buy grocessies. While, the river flowing from west to southern has no changes.
