The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The maps below illustrate the beechwood farm in 1950 and in the present time.

Overall, some new developments are made in a beechwood farm by installing some new things and replacing the old areas with some new productions.

To begin with the west south side of the farm, there was some fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables aside by main road between the river and a track while in the current time a farm shop is developed with the fruit trees and the track is replaced by the road. Additionally, the barn which was near the track is now on the corner of the small road and holiday cottages are constructed on its old place.

Toward the north east of the farm, there was a large area for sheep where there is now a parking on the corner of the main and street road while a camping field is also made there on the right side of small road. Finally, some solar panels are installed aside by the camping field and a small parking slots is provided on its south corner.
