IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The architecture plan illustrates the land of the Beechwood farm in past and same site in present.
Overall, the considerable developments have been done for the site during the time period. The patches of fruit trees, soft fruits,vegetables, locations of farmhouse, chickens and river remaining same during the period while, land is being urbanised and commercialized today.
Begining with, fruits and vegetable patches, It is seem s same in today but farm shop were built near to the fruit trees and the main road. The paths of main roads are connected to the barn which located opposite to the farmhouse and chickens. Newly built holiday cottages are northern to the farmhouse.
Sheep area in 1950 now developed as campeing field and there is the parking area which is corner of the field near to the road. The solar panels are located in northern-east side of the map and there also a parking area.
