The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The map shows the change on beechwood farm between 1950 and the present day.

Overall, change can be see on agriculture site occurs where fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables, farm house and chicken remains still at there places. On the otherhand, parking, camping field, holiday cottages and road have been added at specific site.

In 1950, at western part fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables remain same track is showing path for locals to move. While barn along with chicken and farmhouse were present. A clean large field for cattles was available.

In eastern part, a significant change can be seen where in today's farm modification in which large sheep area has been replaced by camping field and track was converted in roads along both side of road end parkings are available for cars. At the top right corner of map solar panels were installed. Roads are inter-connected by both sides with barn at the end.
