The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The map compare the layout of Beechwood Farm in the year 1950 and similar locatoin in present.

Overall, in past the farmhouse was simple and not too facilated. Neverthless, recently many facility increase such as camping , solar and more. And the sheep area is completely remove.

In 1950, a fly-over was crossed on the river and it locate north to west side. Fruit trees , soft fruits and vegetables were adjacent to each other. In addition there was a walking track which shape as a triangle. And the large area was located by sheep barn. Barn, chicken farm amd farmhouse were in south-east corner.

Furthermore , in present time the farm is completely renovate than. There are many things incluid like solar panel is northern corner. Two parking and camping tent is add. However, many places is located as usual such as fruit and vegetables field , farmhouse and hen . Consequently, the barn is slighly change it side and it place lend weekend cottages.
