The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given planes graph describe about an area of Beechwood farm in 1950 and compare it with how it looks these days.

Overall, significant facilities have been added nowadays like, a camping field, solar panels, parking areas, holiday cottages and a farm shop. Nevertheless some areas remain the same like Fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables, farmhouse and chickens, while the Barn only changed its location.

In the beginning, there was a large area for sheep below that area there was a Track, it also had a turnover. However, below the track on leftside there were three shops next to each other, first furit trees, soft furit and last vehetables. On the other hand, of turn around, there was Barn, Farmhouse and chickens.

Nowadays, sufficient changes have been made at Beechwood farm like, sheep area has eliminated, instead of that other facilities have been built like a camping field. solar panels are installed and parkings are added. Furthermore, the Track has been changed into road. The furit trees, soft furits and vegetables remian same, but place of Barn has been changed now it is below to turn around. However, Holiday cottages have been built in the old place of Barn, additionally, the farmhouse and chickens remain in the same place also.
