IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The blueprints demonstrates the changes and upgradations of the same farm from 1950 to today.
Overall, the land layout remained the same but alot of new additions are being made which includes the camping sides, dedicated farm parking and upgradation of track with a proper road.
To initiate with, the entrance spcae is still quite the same just a small farm shop is build at the very right side of the entrance. Moving along some significant changes are also made at the barn area where the main barn is shifted from the extreme uper side to the left down side and new holiday cottages are build there, while the chickens and farmhouse left untouched.
The substancial changes are made in the wide sheep area which is efficiently used by making a dedicated parking areas at both sides of the farm front and back. Furthermore camping fields are also made with plantation of trees in addition few solar pannels are deploited at the uper right side of the farm right above the parking.
