The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The plans of the beechwood farm show comparisons of the site of the farm in 1950 and the contemprary site of the farm. The current site of the farm has more facilities than the site of the farm in 1950.

Overall, both sites of the farm has common river, road and farmhouse locations. While, the contemporary site of the farm has additional facilities of road, parking, farm shop, camping field, barn, cottages and solar generated power system. The track from the 1950's farm site has been developed into a road that also has parking facilities in the today's site of the farm. The current site of the farm has also planted a tree near the camping field so people can enjoy a whole experience of visiting the beechwood farm.

In conclusion, the plan of current site of the beechwood farm is more sustainable as compared to the plan of the farm's site in 1950. The today's plan of the site of beechwood farm also has additional facilities for the visitors as compared to the 1950's plan of the farm's site.
