The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

THE MAP BELOW SHOWS THE COMPARISON BETWEEN THE SITE FARM IN 1950 AND SAME SITE FOLLOWING DAY.

From 1950 to present day we can observe major changes happened in the Beechwood Farm. Mainly, we can see that grazing for sheep area is developed into place for parking, camping field and solar panels. The site for fruit trees is same as in the past and there farm shop placed near it.

In 1950, the barns are located beside the tracks and barns are connected to the two Y-Junction roads which is near the chicken center. Barns were replaced with holiday cottages. Chickens , Soft fruits, Vegetables, Farm Houses has not changed since 1950.

The major are changes happened the area of sheep. We can see there are two parking areas are there today, In contrast 1950 there no place for parking. In 1950, there is no pace for camping fields and solar panels. Now-a-days these places helps tourists ti visit the area and enjoy the vacation.

In coclusion, the major changes seen in the sheep area only and minor changes in barns.
