The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The maps illustrates the changes that took place in beechwood farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Overall, the area underwent significant changes, including the addition of barn. The most noticeable development was solar panels, while farmhouse remained largely unchanged.

In 1950, beechwood farm contained sheep. By today, this area had been transform into camping field and on the left corner of the camping field new parking had been developed and another new feature is installed in this area is solar pannels and down side of the solar panels another new parking is made.

Elsewhere, track was replaced to road. Meanwhile, farmhouse and chickens remained in the same location. Another notable change is barn was replaced to holiday cottages. In addition, new barn was made at middle end of the road. Moreover, new farm shop added near the fruit trees.
