The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given plan illustrates the layout of Beechwood farm in 1950 and the changes that have taken place ion the side to the present day.
Overall, the Beechwood farm undergoes considerable development, with new facilities being build for tourist as well as for commercial purpose. However, some agricultural feature including fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables area and chicken area have remained largly unchanged.
Look first at agricultural features, from 1950 to current soft fruits area and vegetables area remain unchanges over the period, will there is small farm shop being added inside fruid trees area. Moreover, Chickens and farmhouse mostly remain unchanges, but barn area fully replaced with holiday sottages and barn being attached with road.
In contrst, to the north side sheep space completly transformed with camping field with trees and camps. Furthermore, two parking area is constructed both side of the road. However, remaining area in same field is covered with solared panels.
