IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The plans illustrates the changes of beechwood farm in 1950 and the same site today.
It is evident that, there was major shift in farm shown in the currrent picture. In 1950,the river and direction was same but the track changed with road . The major changes was found in sheep area because as per current situation the parking area alloted nearby road and new solar panels also installed or camping field available for all. In the area of chickens and farmhouse , barn was shown . now the barn area reconstruct to buit holiday cottages and barn area shift to two linked road nearby chickens area. The soft fruits and vegetable was unchanged but the little change found in fruit trees area now it also have farm shop.
Overall, the changes in plan was helpfull and new areas was adjusted properly as per plans.
