The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The plans below compare the site of a Beechwood farm in 1950 and same site today.
In 1950, the map of beechwood farm is simple as compared to today's farm, however, in today's farm there is addition of solar pannels, camping fields, parking, holiday cottages, chickens, bans and farm shop. Ocassionlly, area of sheep in 1905 are divided into solar pannels, parking and camping fields. In today's map one parking is construct near the road and the other is construct near the solar pannels. In present farm, track are converted into road and the barn are placed in middle of the road that are near to Farmhouse and chickens.
Fruit trees, soft trees and vegetables is on the same place in both farms but in today's farm there is addition of farm shop in fruit trees area. Holiday cootages made near the road and river.
In conclusion, present farm provide many facilities like electricity and parking facilties, however, 1950 famr does not provide many facilities.
