IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The diagram compares the facility of beechwood farm, that how it looked toady as compare to the year 1950.
Overall, it is clear that new modern facilities like camping and solar panels are constructed in farm and the old track is converted into road.
In 1950,from left side the farm is surround by the river. A road is cutting through the centre of the farm, the right side is consist of sheep and the other half of the farm include fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetable, the right bottom of thr farm includes thgings like chickens, farmhouse and barn.
As of today the beechwood farm is equipped with variety of modern technologies. The road is constructed in place of Track and at the top right corner of farm solar panels are installed with small parking space near it and at the other half place a camping field and more parking facilities is made. The barn is shifted towards the V type corner of the track and the old barn is converted in holiday cottages.
