The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The map illustrates beechwood farm site in 1950 and the similar but developed site today.

Overall, there is huge development at sheep area which was plain before is developed with so many places and small developed have also be done like roads and farm shop and holiday cottages.

First, In 1950 the development was only one side and a plain area called sheep was on other large area. But, today, the before named sheep area is developed with so many places such as, Two Parkings, Camping field and also a separate place for solae plates.

Also before in 1950 there were no proper roads only tracks were there although today proper roads have been made connected with small barn, which was before a separate big place which is converted today into holiday cottages. Moreover, along with fruit trees the farm shops have been created today.
