IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
There is a diagram of Beechwood farm in 1950 and how it is reconstructed recently.
The Beechwood Farm is located across the bridge and a road. There are various changes occoured during the redevelopment such as on the left side of the road and minor on the right side.
In 1950, there are only a meadow for sheep on the left side of the track while there are different kinds of fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables were available. On thr right side of the triangular track there is a barn, a farmhouse and chickens. While a farm shop is added next to the fruit trees and holiday cottages added during reestablishment.
During the redevelopment, there are some beneficial changes occoured such as camping field for visitors and solar pannels with parking for both.
