The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The two plans illustrate the changes that have taken in Beechword Fram between 1950 and today.
Overall, the farm has undergone construction with the development of various areas such as farm shop, parking, camping field while others remain unchanged.
In 1950, the northern part of the farm has been occupied by sheep which has now changed into camping field with parking and solar panels. There was farmhouse behind the barn near railway track.
But nowadays, holiday cottages has been added today behind the farmhouse with proper facilities of parking and solar panels. There can be seen a advanced development in road as there are different way to entrance. From the overall plans, it can be seen that it is quite organized than before.
Overall, the changes have made Beechwoord farmhouse accessible for both famers and visitors.
