Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The two diagrams below show the layout of the Beechwood farm in the year 1950 and today.
Overall, the farm has undergone significant development, as the sheep area of the farm has now been converted into a camping field, two small areas have been allocated for parking and solar panels, and holiday cottages have also been provided.
At first, the major development was the conversion of the sheep land into a camping field, and in that, there are two parking areas and one small area for the solar panels. Then, the second conversion was the track into a road, which is connected to the three different lands, and one with a barn.
The big area for the barn in the 1950s was changed into holiday cottages, and the barn was shifted near the river at the end of the farm; at last, the three different lands in which the fruit tree land has a farm shop in the land which is near the road.
