The site illustrates about changes came in the Beechwood farm from 1950 to the present day.

Overall, in 1950 , most of the area if the farm is spacious. While the farm on the present day is less spacious and is now filled with more objectives . While few things are still same as per the 1950 for example: fruit trees , soft fruits and vegetables area.

Initially, the beechwood farm is surrounded by a river on its boundaries. There are three different sections alongside the river on the left corner of farm. The first field is , fruit trees , which is beside the road. along with it the second field is of soft fruits in the middle. vegetables field is the last one besides the other two. Subsequently, on the right corner of the farm , Barn, farmhouse and a place for chickens are built. Most of the area is covered by , sheeps , which is seperated from the other places by a track built between the farm dividing the farm into two seperate sections.

On the present day, alot of changes has been made and few things are upgraded from the 1950's beechwood farm. A farm shop has been established in the fruit trees area , while the soft fruits and vegetables area is as same as from earlier. The track is replaced by road in the middle with barn at one end if the road. A holiday cottage is built now in the place of barn back in 1950. On the other aide of the road the sheep area is now divided into further two sections one for camping and the other for solar panels with parking lots in bith sode of them alongside the road.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify the broad change from a farm with sheep and a few agricultural areas to a site with additional facilities, and you correctly note that the fruit, soft-fruit and vegetable areas remain. However, the overview is unclear and includes an unsupported claim that the present site is “less spacious.” Several key changes are misreported: the farm shop is between the fruit trees and internal road, not established within the fruit-tree area; the barn remains, while the holiday cottages are south of the eastbound road and farmhouse rather than replacing the former barn. The description also omits important features such as the two parking areas and the solar panels’ position. Select the main changes more accurately and compare the locations explicitly to make the summary more complete and clear.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an attempted overview, and separate descriptions of the earlier and current layouts. This gives the reader a basic chronological route through the maps. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some connections are unclear or repetitive. The overview uses two sentences beginning with “While,” and the final paragraph moves from the farm shop to the road, cottages, camping and solar panels without consistently locating each feature. Phrases such as “on the other aide of the road” do not make the spatial relationship clear. Use a consistent route through each plan—for example, describe the western fields first, then the central road and eastern facilities—and use precise linking and reference phrases to show how features relate.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant map vocabulary, including “boundaries,” “alongside,” “dividing,” and “established,” and the reader can generally identify the features being discussed. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the description difficult to interpret. “More objectives” does not convey that the site has more facilities, while “the area … is spacious” is not a natural way to describe the map. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “sheeps,” “seperated,” “alot,” and “bith.” Aim for precise terms such as “facilities,” “occupies,” “remains,” and “is located,” and check spelling carefully. Avoid informal or vague expressions such as “a lot of changes” in an academic map summary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple statements and longer sentences, including comparisons with “while” and clauses introduced by “which.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation occur frequently. For example, “changes has been made” should use a plural verb, and “the farm on the present day is less spacious” has an awkward grammatical construction. Several sentences also contain misplaced commas or incomplete punctuation, such as “The first field is, fruit trees,” and “Most of the area is covered by, sheeps.” These problems sometimes interrupt the reader’s understanding. Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses such as “whereas” or “while”; check subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries during revision.
