Student answer (Band 5.5)
We are going to discuss about the Beechwood Farm comparison of two different timelines like what things are available and present in 1950 Beechwood Farm and what perks are upgraded in Todays Beechwood Farm.
First of all we are going to talk about the beechwood farm of 1950's in which the number of technology was limited and all the things which are available was natural and use of technology was less ,First of all their were roads alongside the track on which people can walk their were Fruit trees and varieties of soft fruits which are then consume by human and are sell in the market ,Alongside the track path their were herd of sheeps which consume their food from the grassland and also alongside the track their are Vegetable and river which connects with the road and the Farmhouse and the Chickens are rear their with them their is also Barn moving along with the trackside.
If we talk about the Todays era their is road which is as same as previous era and the new upgradation which are done is the Farm shops are made at the place were fruit trees and Soft fruits are grown, and the next upgradation was about the camping field in the era where only sheeps are rear and other most impactfull evolution which was done was the installation of solar panels which helps in prodution energy without any cost and help generate electricity effieciently and the next comparison was about the road which was then connected to the Barn and the place of Barn was shift and in the previous area Holiday cottages are made for people to visit, If we talk about the comparison of both era's the Today era is more upgraded and highly effiecient according to the previous era.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the two time periods and mention several relevant changes, including the camping field, solar panels, farm shop and holiday cottages. However, the response only partially reports the plans: it gives little clear account of the site’s layout and omits important changes such as the two parking areas and the relocation of the barn. Some details are inaccurate or unsupported: the farm shop is between the fruit trees and the internal road, rather than replacing the fruit and soft-fruit areas, and the sheep area is not described as becoming the camping field. The overview that today is “more upgraded” is broad and evaluative rather than a clear summary of the main land-use changes. Describe the key locations and distinguish retained features from new ones.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic chronological structure, moving from 1950 to today, and phrases such as “First of all” and “If we talk about” signal a change of focus. However, the progression within each section is difficult to follow because many separate features are joined in long, loosely connected sentences. The repeated introductory phrases and repeated use of “and” make the linking mechanical, while references such as “their” and “the place” do not always make the locations clear. Organise the report into a concise overview followed by separate paragraphs for the earlier and current layouts, grouping features by area or by what changed and what remained. This would make comparisons easier to track.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “solar panels,” “camping field,” “Farmhouse” and “Holiday cottages,” so the reader can identify several features. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “things,” “upgradation” and “comparison,” and some choices are inaccurate or unnatural for describing a plan. For example, “perks are upgraded” and “highly efficient” do not precisely describe changes in land use, while “roads alongside the track” is unclear. There are also noticeable spelling and word-form errors, including “Todays,” “impactfull” and “prodution.” Build a more precise set of map-description terms, such as “was converted into,” “was relocated,” “remained,” and “is situated to the east of.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts to combine ideas using relative clauses and time contrasts, but sentence structures are often faulty or run on, which sometimes makes relationships between features hard to understand. For instance, the opening sentence uses “discuss about,” and the long 1950 description contains several clauses joined by commas without clear sentence boundaries. Verb forms and agreement are also inconsistent: “things which are available was natural,” “their were roads,” and “the Farmhouse and the Chickens are rear their” do not form accurate grammatical patterns. Articles, plurals and tense control also need attention. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences and use consistent past tense for 1950 and present tense for today, checking subject–verb agreement and punctuation.
