This picture illustrates the beechwood farm in 1950 and today. This also gives comparison between the two diagrams.
Overall,in 1950 beechwood farm has a simple structure as compared to at the present structure. In 1950,there are some simple structure of all of these things. If we talk about at the present structure the major changes are parking, camping field and solar panels instead of sheep.
Moreover, today diagram is totally different as compared to the diagram of 1950.We can see there are some fruit trees and vegetables and farmhouse are there in 1950 but these things are totally changed. The new thing which can be added is the holiday cottages.Another good thing is that there is also solar panels and camping field are added. We can say that with the passage of time everything has been changed.
Another good thing is that barn replaced from the corner and joined it with the roads. We can say that today structure is more beneficial as compare to the structure of 1950.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the two time periods and give a broad overview that the farm has changed, mentioning new parking, a camping field, solar panels and holiday cottages. However, the account is only partly developed and includes inaccurate or unclear comparisons. For example, “instead of sheep” suggests sheep were replaced, but the plan still shows a sheep area in 1950 and the present plan instead introduces a camping field in that part of the site. Fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables, the farmhouse and chickens largely remain, rather than being “totally changed.” You also do not clearly describe the main layout changes, such as the new internal roads and the relocation of the barn. Compare the plans more precisely and distinguish retained features from additions or changes.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic sequence: an introduction, an overview, and further comments about changes. This gives the reader some sense of the topic, and phrases such as “Moreover” and “Another good thing” attempt to connect ideas. However, progression is limited because several sentences repeat the general claim that the farm is different or has changed, without grouping details into a clear comparison. “Another good thing” is also repeated and does not show how the next point relates to the previous one. Organise the body by features that remain and features that are new or relocated, and use clear references such as “the former sheep area” to make relationships easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Your vocabulary is sufficient to identify several relevant features, including “parking,” “camping field,” “solar panels,” “holiday cottages” and “barn.” However, the range is limited, and repeated general wording such as “good thing,” “totally different” and “everything has been changed” does not describe the map precisely. Some choices are also unnatural or imprecise: “simple structure” is repeated, while “barn replaced from the corner” does not clearly explain its new position. Use more specific language for map changes, including terms for additions, retention, relocation and position. This would make the comparison clearer and reduce reliance on broad evaluative phrases such as “more beneficial,” which is not supported by the plans.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer comparisons, but the range is limited and errors recur in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation. For example, “today. This” needs a space after the full stop, and “there are some fruit trees and vegetables and farmhouse are there” has faulty agreement and an unclear structure. “The new thing which can be added is the holiday cottages” also has a mismatch between singular “thing” and plural “cottages,” while “barn replaced from the corner” lacks a clear grammatical construction. Most ideas can still be understood, but these errors make the writing less controlled. Practise accurate present and past descriptions, and build comparisons with complete, clearly structured clauses.
