MANY COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD, SUMMER BREAKS OF FEW MONTHS HAS BEEN INTRODUCED BY PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS. FROM MY KNOWLEDGE, NEED OF SCHOOL HOLIDAYS FOR SCHOLARS ARE DISCUSSED IN FORTHCOMING PARAGRAPH.

TO COMMENCE WITH SUMMER HOLIDAYS, DURING THESE DAYS THE TEMPERATURE OF ENVIRONMENT IS RISING AND EVERY GOVERENMENT MAKE POLICY TO KEEP SCHOOL CLOSED TO PROTECT STUDENTS. APART FROM THAT CHILDREN WAS GIVEN WORK FROM HOME AS THEY CAN DO EXTRA ACTIVITIES ALONG WITH EDUCATION. FOR INSTANCE, IN NORTH INDIA, ALL SCHOOLS REMAIN CLOSE FOR 2 MONTHS IN SUMMER. DURING THIS TIME, EVERY TODDLER REMAIN IN HOME TO PROTECT FROM THEM FROM RISING TEMPERATURE. ALSO THEY CAN COMPLETE THEIR TASKS FROM LIVING IN HOME. THUS, SUCH BREAKS RESULTS PRODUCTIVE FOR THEIR PHYSICAL AS WELL AS EDUCATION GOALS.

TOWARDS SHIFTING TO ITS MANDATORY SIDE, THESE SUMMER BREAKS IS ALSO MEMORABLE IN SOME ASPECTS. IN THESE DAYS, MANY SCHOLARS PLAN TRIP WITH FAMILY TO COLD ARES WHERE THEY CAPTURE PRECIOUS TIMES OF THEIR LIFES WITH THEIR FAMILY. TO EXPLICATE IT, STUDENTS WHO PREPARE FOR THEIR COMPETITION EXAMS HAVE NOT TIME TO GO OUTSIDE WITH THEIR PARENTS BECAUSE OF THE LOSE OF STUDY, THESE BREAKS ALLOWS THEM TO COLLECTS LOVELY MEMORY WITH RELAX THEIR MENTAL PRESSURE. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the value of long holidays and the arguments for shorter ones. However, the development is somewhat superficial. The arguments regarding 'protecting students from heat' and 'family trips' are relevant but lack depth. The prompt asks for arguments in favour of shorter holidays, but the essay focuses primarily on the benefits of the current long break, only briefly touching upon the 'mandatory side' without clearly articulating the benefits of a shorter school year (e.g., academic continuity or childcare convenience). The position is clear, but the ideas are not fully extended, leading to a Band 5.5 performance.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'TOWARDS SHIFTING TO ITS MANDATORY SIDE' and 'FROM MY KNOWLEDGE'. The logical progression between sentences is occasionally strained due to awkward phrasing. While the essay is coherent overall, the referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between the two main points is not smooth. The paragraphing is present but the internal flow of ideas needs more sophisticated linking words to reach a higher band.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'results productive', 'lose of study', and 'cold ares'. The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles with accurate word forms (e.g., 'studnet's', 'every toddler remain'). While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of variety and the presence of errors in word choice and spelling limit the score to a Band 5.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there is a high frequency of grammatical errors. Subject-verb agreement is a recurring issue, such as 'summer breaks... has been introduced' and 'every toddler remain'. There are also errors in article usage and prepositional phrases, such as 'in home' instead of 'at home'. Punctuation is generally functional, but the frequent grammatical slips occasionally impede the flow of reading. The control over complex structures is inconsistent, which is characteristic of a Band 5.0 to 5.5 level.
