In my words, i think education is one of the most important value in human life. It helps people to live with peacefully, follow good principles, and make society better. Nation that have progressed in knowledge, technology, and education always respect moral values and discipline. These values guide people to live with honesty, patience and respect. Education is one of the these noble qualities that shapes a person life and character.
Character is the base of a good human being. It gives direction and purpose of life. Without education, life is like a ship with rudder-last. It build a persons respect, teaches self-control and prepares a nation for success. A society cannot make real progress without education. Because it keeps people united and disciplined. To spread education is our country. We must take practical steps. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to address the prompt effectively. The majority of the essay is dedicated to a general discussion about the importance of education and moral values, which is irrelevant to the specific question regarding summer school holidays. The actual topic—the value of long holidays versus the arguments for shorter ones—is only addressed in the final few sentences. Because the core of the prompt is not developed and the essay is largely off-topic, it does not meet the requirements for a higher band. To improve, you must focus exclusively on the specific questions asked and provide clear, relevant arguments for both sides of the debate.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a logical structure. The paragraphs do not follow a clear progression; the first two paragraphs discuss education in general, while the final paragraph attempts to address the prompt but does so abruptly. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link ideas; transitions like 'In my words' and 'So it is confirm' are used incorrectly or awkwardly. Paragraphing is present but does not serve to organize the argument effectively. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and use linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'however' to connect your ideas logically.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms and struggle with word choice and collocation. For example, 'rudder-last' is not a standard English expression, and 'active' is used as a noun instead of 'activities'. There are also several grammatical errors involving word forms, such as 'In favours of'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to discuss the topic with any precision. To improve, try to learn topic-specific collocations related to education and time management, and focus on using words in their correct grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Nation that have progressed'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'Because it keeps people united and disciplined.' The use of punctuation is also inconsistent. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are often faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency.
