Many benefits of long summer vacation. Student can improve their skills and knowledge from any other activity without any educational pressure. Government give chance to student grew their abilities. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the value of long holidays and the arguments for shorter ones. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. The arguments regarding 'mental health' are somewhat unclear and lack logical depth. The personal examples provided are relevant but are not integrated into a formal academic structure effectively. To improve, you should focus on expanding your points with more sophisticated reasoning rather than relying on personal anecdotes, and ensure that the distinction between the two sides of the argument is more clearly defined.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and a lack of cohesive devices. Transitions between sentences are often missing or mechanical (e.g., 'As a result...'). The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. To improve, use a wider variety of linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'on the other hand', and 'in contrast' to connect your ideas more fluidly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'good', 'bad', and 'work'. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'describe talents' instead of 'showcase talents' and 'disturb their mental health' where a more precise term like 'negatively impact' would be better. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas clearly. You should focus on learning topic-specific collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition and improve the precision of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'arguments... was'), incorrect tense usage, and missing articles. Sentence structures are predominantly simple, and attempts at complex sentences often result in errors, such as 'When i am in 10 grade then, school gave me...'. Punctuation is also inconsistent. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and practicing the use of complex structures like relative clauses and conditional sentences.
