Student answer (Band 5.5)
In my countries, primary and secondary schools close for two months or more in the summer holidays. Some people think that holidays in summer are too long and it is waste of time. However, the believe that it also damage the performance of a student. In contrast some people debates that summer holidays are compulsary because it is relaxing time for student from daily drianed of work
On the one hand, some people believe that summar holidays are waste of time and they think in these day students can be involved in differnet habits such as spending a lot of time on phone or spend time with friend
They debate that these habits can be effected for their career and also they face diffculity to attaining their goals. For example. if a student totaly free he has nothing to do. He only spending his or her time on phone or doing different types of activities because sutends are fully disconnected with school or college.
On the other hand, some people consider that summer holidays are very important for student because students also want to enjoy after long period of examination and strict study routine. In summer holidays students are not totaly free. Therefore, the schools sent summer holidays work for the student and they compelet all the task that are mentioned on the summer work. They think that such type of holidays are prove to benefit for student and it also gives a creative spark among the students.Moreever, in the summer holidays they also miss their classmate that strong the connection between them.
In my opinion, the summer holidays are necessary for the growth of the students and also fro their bright future.
In conuslion, the holidays vital for students because it gives relaxing enviroment to the children and also from daily drained of strict work.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the value of long holidays and the arguments for shorter ones. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding students being 'totally free' and spending time on their phones is repetitive and lacks depth. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments are not fully extended. To improve, you should provide more specific examples or logical consequences for your points rather than repeating the same ideas in different ways. The conclusion is a bit brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'In contrast some people debates' and 'Therefore, the schools sent summer holidays work' do not always create logical links between sentences. The progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing, such as the transition between the discussion of phone usage and the conclusion. While there is an attempt to use linking words like 'On the one hand' and 'Moreever', the overall flow is occasionally disjointed, making the essay feel somewhat repetitive in its structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'daily drianed of work', 'compulsary', and 'prove to benefit'. These errors sometimes impede the clarity of your message. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to use more precise or academic language. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning collocations (e.g., 'academic performance' instead of 'performance of a student') and ensure that you are using words in their correct grammatical form (e.g., 'compulsory' instead of 'compulsary').
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('some people debates'), article usage ('the believe'), and verb forms ('they can be effected'). Sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors that affect readability. For example, 'if a student totaly free he has nothing to do' is missing a verb. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of periods in the middle of sentences. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band.
