Student answer (Band 4.0)
Yaa it is right question to arrise in many countries and it is very important topic in all countries so our government think about that summer vacation is really important for small aur school children. So summer holidays is good for children because in this time too much sun is present so in long vacation children can not go to outside of the house and do the rest at home so them immunity is also good ,prevention of tanning and get cold environment at home
In our country some school has shorter period of summer vacation is present but I opposed to this decision of our government and take serious of child health because in summer time too much sun is present so some time children can go to their school and at that afternoon time some child suffering from the diarrhea as well as nausea and some children suffering from the less glucose in body then leads to very low blood pressure so at that time we can give long vacation we can prevent all this situation and given the child for better life and in classroom many of children present in one room so suffocation problem as well hot weather is there so many child have heart related problem is happen so my advise is we can given the children more than 2 month vacation so we can prevent the child health and child can stay home stay safe .and one seminar we can also arrange for children what they can do it or don't in summer

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response attempts to address the prompt but fails to provide a balanced discussion. While it touches on the value of long holidays, the arguments are repetitive and focus almost exclusively on extreme weather and health concerns rather than educational or developmental benefits. The second part of the prompt, regarding arguments in favour of shorter holidays, is completely ignored; instead, the writer uses this space to further argue against shorter holidays. The ideas are not well-developed and lack the depth required for an academic task. The position is clear, but the lack of engagement with the second half of the prompt significantly limits the score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no introduction or conclusion, and the two paragraphs are poorly organised. Cohesive devices are almost entirely absent, and where they are used, they are often misused or repetitive (e.g., 'so', 'and'). The progression of ideas is difficult to follow because the sentences are often run-on and lack logical transitions. Paragraphing is present but does not serve to organise the argument effectively, as the content within the paragraphs is disjointed and lacks a clear focus.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary is very basic and often inappropriate for an academic context. There is frequent misuse of words, such as 'arrise' for 'arise', 'aur' for 'or', and 'take serious of' instead of 'take seriously'. The range is limited, and the writer relies on simple, repetitive phrasing. There are significant errors in word choice and collocation throughout the text, which occasionally impede the reader's understanding of the intended meaning. The lack of academic register is a major weakness.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammar is highly problematic, with frequent errors in sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and tense usage. Many sentences are run-on, lacking proper punctuation, such as 'so them immunity is also good ,prevention of tanning and get cold environment at home'. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the simple sentences produced are often grammatically incorrect. Errors are pervasive and frequently cause difficulty for the reader, as the meaning is often obscured by the poor construction of the sentences.
