In recent years ,summer holidays in primary and secondy school has become a topic of considerable discussion. While there are valid arguments surrounding this issue ,it is important to consider both value and disadvantages of long holidays. This essay will address both question in turn.

There are several compelling reasons why long holidays can be considered valuable. The most significant of these is summer .In summers the temprature goes almost double as copared with other seasons as result there are double chances to get hit by heat waves. This is largely because global warming effect, To prevent from this situtaion goverment annouced long holidays in primary and secondary school in summers.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, but the development of ideas is limited. The argument regarding the value of holidays focuses almost exclusively on heat waves, which is a narrow interpretation. The discussion on shorter holidays is also underdeveloped, relying on general assertions about video games and social media without providing a balanced perspective. Furthermore, the response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the depth of the analysis and the overall task completion. To improve, you should expand your arguments with more specific examples and ensure you meet the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'The most significant of these is summer' or 'The mainly due to fact that'. Some transitions feel forced or disconnected from the preceding sentences. While there is an attempt at a logical flow, the progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing and a lack of sophisticated linking words. Improving the variety and accuracy of your cohesive devices will help your ideas flow more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'secondy', 'temprature', 'situtaion', 'goverment', 'consiquently', 'propects') and word choice issues (e.g., 'lost of student study', 'developing adults'). These errors occasionally make the meaning slightly unclear. To improve, focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic terms and try to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to education and social issues rather than relying on simple, repetitive language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'holidays... has become'), missing articles, and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'To prevent from this situtaion goverment annouced long holidays'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence structure prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article usage.
