In some of the countries, primary and secondary schools close for the two or three months in the summer holidays. Because in the summer there is much hot days, that's why government should announced more day off. It was because the childrens which are going to the schools in hot days can get rest in home and stay safe in their house. One of the main reason of the long summer vacation is that in which students can free from the stress of the work and other activities which can be held in schools.Second one is that child's takes most of the time in their home, do everything which is like the most in our daily routine. They have a more time to do anything and spare days to complete the task which are given from the school. They have to do their work assignment in their free days and reading the books to gain the knowledge. They focused on it what could be written on the books and what the meaning of that word. In this way they can improve their dictionary words also.Read the topic of it's subject on the daily basis,it can be better for the students who can do their daily. In some cases many schools have shorter holidays because their aim is to make a good and intelligent students, who can work hard for the the progress of their nation. That's why most of the colleges make their students punctual and responsible for their duties which can be completed in any way. It is good for the students to improve their mental and physical health.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the value of long holidays and the arguments for shorter ones. However, the development of ideas is limited. The points regarding 'hot days' and 'stress' are mentioned but not fully explored or supported with clear examples. The argument for shorter holidays is also somewhat vague, focusing on 'intelligent students' without explaining the specific educational or social benefits. To improve, you should provide more detailed explanations and concrete examples for each point, ensuring that your arguments are fully developed rather than just stated.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no introduction or conclusion, and the body paragraphs are not clearly defined, with most of the text appearing as a single block. While there are some attempts at linking ideas using words like 'One of the main reason' and 'Second one', the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, which makes the flow of the argument difficult to follow. Improving paragraphing and using a wider variety of linking words would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'much hot days' instead of 'very hot days' and 'dictionary words' instead of 'vocabulary'. The range of vocabulary is limited, and the student struggles to use less common items accurately. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary. For example, instead of saying 'do everything which is like the most', you could use 'pursue their personal interests'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'government should announced'), article usage (e.g., 'in the summer'), and pluralization (e.g., 'the childrens'). Sentence structures are generally simple, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors in syntax or punctuation. For instance, 'Because in the summer there is much hot days, that's why government should announced more day off' is a run-on sentence with multiple grammatical flaws. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors would be beneficial.
