In many countries montessary and matriculation schools give break to students for two or more months in hot weather. This essay will suggest the value like extracriculum activites long holidays provide and people thoughts about shorter holidays that students loses interest in studies.

To begin with, long school holidays give student time to pay focus on extracriculum activities. many student who like to do other things such as sport, swiming, cooking and many more that they are not be able to do with their full time study so this break give them sufficient time to learn that new extrcriculum activities and follow their passion. To conclude, Summer is beneficial for students to learn new skills other than studies while, there should be a summer homework for students so that they continue their studies and a fovorable approch to overcome the shorter school holidays arguments.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both the value of long school holidays and the arguments in favour of shorter ones, supported by reasons and examples. The introduction outlines the essay's direction, and body paragraphs explore extracurricular pursuits and the risk of losing academic focus. However, the development of ideas remains somewhat basic and general, as seen in phrases like 'many student who like to do other things such as sport, swiming, cooking'. The examples provided are personal and simple rather than thoroughly extended. This positions the task achievement squarely at Band 5.0, where the task is addressed, but ideas are limited, under-developed, and occasionally lack depth.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay is organised into four distinct paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. There is a basic structure with transitional markers such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'To conclude'. However, logical progression is frequently hindered by missing punctuation, run-on sentences, and abrupt transitions between ideas. For instance, the transition from discussing lost student interest to summer homework lacks smooth scaffolding ('this argument is legit many students...'). Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is often faulty and mechanical. Referencing and conjunctions are basic, placing the coherence and cohesion performance at a Band 5.0 level.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, featuring frequent spelling errors ('montessary', 'extracriculum', 'swiming', 'extrcriculum', 'suimming', 'beacuse', 'repective', 'fovorable', 'approch') and word-form inaccuracies ('loses students interest' instead of 'causes students to lose interest', 'pay focus' instead of 'pay attention'). While the writer attempts some topic-specific vocabulary related to education and holidays, the high density of spelling and lexical errors causes noticeable difficulty for the reader and restricts the lexical range to a minimally adequate level. This fully aligns with the Band 5 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and faulty attempts at complex clauses. Punctuation is largely neglected, resulting in long, run-on sentences with missing capitalisation and full stops, such as 'many student who like to do other things such as sport, swiming, cooking and many more that they are not be able to do with their full time study so this break give them sufficient time...'. Grammatical errors occur in almost every sentence, including subject-verb agreement issues ('break give', 'student who... is') and tense inconsistencies. These frequent errors cause significant strain for the reader, placing the grammar score at Band 4.5, rounded up to Band 5.0 given the communicative intent.
