Student answer (Band 5.5)
The Summer holidays are one of the most discussed topic among parents specially in summers. Some people think holidays should be longer so childrens can have time to explore other locations and avail some oppertunities in different activities, Other argue that school holiday should be short so students can show more involvement in studies.
Longer school holiday are much valueable if the student spend this time in productivity. They can visit different places and invest this time in different activities which might leads them a healthy and more intillectual persone. However there is a disadvantage that longer holidays may bring laizyness in students by playing different video games, this will effect there mental health and growth a good example is child remains in a room and he has no intraction with real word in result he might feel difficulties in his mature life.
Shorter school holiday are more preffered by parents and best to be commited with studies. Parents pereception is students at home making there life undesireable which mean they have to be extra carefull, It become a difficult task for them to mannage there jobs and take care of there chilldrens at same time. On the other hand, the students risticted to there studies are anware of different experience and it might effect there ablility of exporsion.
In conclution, Although the long holidays is benifical for mental health but it have its negitive effect on lifes. The shorter vocation can effect the exploration abilities but help students in educational department.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task, examining both the value of long school holidays and the arguments in favour of shorter ones. However, the development of these ideas is limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on the value of long holidays mentions that students can visit different places and invest time in activities, but this point remains superficial and lacks extended support or concrete examples. Similarly, the arguments for shorter holidays touch on parental challenges and academic focus, such as 'Parents pereception is students at home making there life undesireable,' but these ideas are not fully explored or substantiated. The position is generally clear throughout, though the limited elaboration prevents the response from reaching a higher level of task fulfillment.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing that separates the introduction, the value of long holidays, the arguments for shorter holidays, and the conclusion. There is a basic logical progression from one viewpoint to the next. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical and referencing is occasionally unclear. For example, transition phrases like 'On the other hand' and 'In conclution' are used, but the internal links between sentences can be repetitive and faulty. Pronoun referencing is also weak in places, such as 'a good example is child remains in a room and he has no intraction with real word in result he might feel difficulties,' which disrupts the smooth flow of ideas between clauses and sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited in range and adequacy for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'productivity,' 'intellectual,' and 'exploration,' but these attempts are frequently marred by noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word form. There are multiple spelling mistakes throughout the text, including 'oppertunities,' 'intillectual,' 'laizyness,' 'intraction,' 'pereception,' 'mannage,' 'chilldrens,' 'risticted,' 'anware,' 'exporsion,' 'conclution,' 'benifical,' 'negitive,' and 'vocation.' Additionally, collocation and word forms are sometimes awkward, such as 'longer holiday are much valueable' instead of valuable, and 'educational department' instead of educational sphere or academics. These errors cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the lexical score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response displays a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple and flawed complex sentence forms. There are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and agreement that cause difficulty for the reader. Subject-verb agreement issues are prominent, such as 'Longer school holiday are much valueable' and 'the students risticted to there studies are anware.' Article usage and pluralization errors also occur frequently, including 'a healthy and more intillectual persone' and 'making there life undesireable.' Attempts at complex sentence structures often result in faulty punctuation and run-on constructions, such as combining independent clauses with commas or omitting necessary prepositions within grammatical patterns. These persistent errors indicate a need for better control over basic and complex grammatical forms.
