Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people tend to believe that primary and secondary education sectors are close in summer vaccations for two or more months. While other contradict with it the school holidays must be shorter in period. With the both point of views, I discuss both sites before my opinion.
The long term school holidays provide the best enviornment of self learning for students. Firstly, It creates an oppertiunitty of healthy balance between physical and mental health for kids. For example, kids are staying at home without teaching classes and fully focused on school homework without any assistance. Their sharp and creative mindset solve homework tasks. Overall, childrens relax in vaccations and not bear neomerous extra study pressure in vaccations.
On the other hand, shorter vaccations are reliable for primary and secondary level students. Firstly, these students are not much mature to handle the long term study gap. For example, students only enjoy holidays and their progress is drastically reduce. After two to three month vaccations, the less percentage of the childrens got high marks and the others are relay with a leep of faith. The subject score and lecture attentian of the students are compromised. The result of short term vaccation significantly prominent for students.
In conclusion, more than two months vaccations are useful for relaxation with out study pressure. While the short term holidays session are reliable for proper attention of the student. I am fully agree with short term holidays playing a key role in-site of primary and secondary level students.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both the value of long school holidays and the arguments in favour of shorter ones, as well as providing a personal opinion. However, the ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on the value of long holidays mentions a healthy balance between physical and mental health, but explains this vaguely by stating that kids stay at home and focus on homework without assistance. Similarly, the arguments for shorter holidays rely on generalized statements about student progress without strong, fully elaborated examples. The position is stated, but the overall development of ideas remains basic, keeping the response at this level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph structure, dedicating distinct paragraphs to the introduction, the value of long holidays, the arguments for shorter holidays, and a conclusion. There is a logical sequence of ideas, and basic cohesive devices are employed, such as 'Firstly', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes mechanical or faulty, as seen in awkward transitional phrases like 'With the both point of views, I discuss both sites before my opinion.' Paragraphing is used sufficiently, but the overall progression between ideas could be smoother and more sophisticated to reach higher bands.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited but minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, but this is accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and spelling that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples of lexical and spelling inaccuracies include 'vaccations' instead of 'vacations', 'oppertiunitty', 'enviornment', 'neomerous', 'attentian', and 'site' instead of 'side'. Phrases like 'relay with a leep of faith' or 'the subject score and lecture attentian... are compromised' further demonstrate restricted word control and awkward collocations, which impede precise communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing displays a limited range of sentence structures. While the student attempts complex sentence forms, these attempts are frequently faulty, such as in the opening sentence: 'Many people tend to believe that primary and secondary education sectors are close in summer vaccations for two or more months.' There are frequent errors in verb forms, prepositions, articles, and pluralisation throughout the text, including 'education sectors are close', 'other contradict with it', 'childrens relax', and 'I am fully agree'. These frequent grammatical errors demand more effort from the reader, though the core meaning can generally still be deciphered.
