Student answer (Band 5.0)
I'd like to talk about for this intresting topic of School-Holidays.Mostly school closed for maximum time like, Two-Three months in summer season.I'd also talk about by this benenficial value and dentrimental arguments.
So,maximum schools are closed in the start or mid of summer season like the months,May,June mostly.Beacause in theses specific months are also temperature fluctuated constantly. However, during these particular month schools are closed very benificial for the young's students.Due to the fact that, the young's student don't might be tolerence hot humidity. That's the reason for closed schools first in summers.
But, in my opinion the closing schools for a long time causes a dentrimental effect on the student's study.Which are not beneficial for students. It's main reason is that, when the school close for a long period of time. So, the students in this time don't pay any intentions to studies.Furthermore, students played whole day,and during vaccations dont focus on studies. This is the primary reason for the detrimental results at the end.For example,
In contrast, when the vaccations are announced, after one to two week rest, the system must ensures summer camps and conducted online classes, which is beneficial for students.I like this mathod most, Owing to,when i were in school and the higher part of school like,9th-10th classes, our school system conducted summer camps and online classes.Which gain excellant result at the last examination.
All of this, the conclusion is that, the school are not gave long time vacations for middle and higher classes students. However, the young's students will gave Full-Time holidays.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the main parts of the prompt by discussing both the value of long holidays and the arguments for shorter ones, such as preventing learning loss and managing weather conditions. However, the ideas are quite limited, repetitive, and under-developed, lacking detailed elaboration or strong supporting evidence. Furthermore, the length requirement is not met, as the response contains only 242 words, falling short of the required minimum of 250 words. To reach a higher band, the writer must fully develop all parts of the task with extended explanations and examples, while ensuring the minimum word count is satisfied.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organization with clear attempts to structure the essay into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and the flow is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and repetitive statements. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often inaccurate or mechanical, such as 'In contrast' used inappropriately to introduce a supportive example. Paragraphing is attempted, but paragraph boundaries and internal logical links need to be much clearer. To progress, the writer should focus on logically grouping ideas and using cohesive links more naturally to establish a clear roadmap throughout the essay.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'dentrimental' (detrimental), 'fluctuated', and 'excellant', but these attempts are marred by frequent spelling errors and awkward word choices. There are also noticeable vocabulary limitations, with repetitive use of words like 'beneficial' and 'study'. While the reader can generally grasp the intended meaning despite these lexical flaws, the errors cause some difficulty. To improve, the writer needs to expand their range of vocabulary, improve spelling accuracy, and focus on correct word choice and collocations appropriate for academic writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The grammatical structures used are very limited, relying heavily on basic sentence forms with frequent attempts at complex structures that are faulty. There are persistent errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, and prepositions, such as 'school closed for maximum time like', 'the young's student don't might be tolerence hot humidity', and 'when i were in school'. These frequent errors require the reader to occasionally strain to understand the meaning. To achieve a higher band, the writer must demonstrate a better control of basic grammar, improve sentence construction, and reduce the frequency of structural errors by practicing complex sentence patterns accurately.
