Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many nations, primary and secondary levels institutions have long-term vocations like summer holidays. They closed their schools for a long term durations.
In my point of views, there is no value of long durations holidays. Behind this argument there are many strong reasons. The first reason is that the significant lost of precious time of students because majority of students was not fully time to meet their education standards. The second most common reason was that the average attendence of school children in full year is about 150 to 170 maximum days due to many circumstances. For instance, a school level to university level student specially in developing nations was not meet their study requirements due to lond duration of holidays. Summer holidays, winter holidays, religious holidays, national holidays and student's personal holidays are most common examples. But unfortunately, in developing nations there is wrost problem toward education sector. If countries decide to develop another system and replace the present system to a new one. There is a hopeful development to bost their education departments.
On the same way, shorter school hoildays was bost their education systems and made a sense of self- responsibilty to respect their precious moments of life and invest them into positive attitudes and contribute to their national progress that is very essential these days of modren world.
In summary, shorter holidays has huge benefits but longer hoildays distract the student capabilities. Moreover, reasonable vocations are both beneficial for students personal developments and education departments respectively . So many nations has modifiyed their vocational structures.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You take a clear position against long holidays and mention several relevant concerns, including lost study time and limited school attendance. However, the task asks both for the value of long holidays and arguments for shorter ones, and the first part is not really answered: you state that long holidays have “no value” rather than explaining possible benefits such as rest, family time, or independent activities. The case for shorter holidays is also asserted more than explained; for example, “made a sense of self-responsibility” is not supported with a specific example. To strengthen the response, address both questions directly and develop each main point with a clear explanation or relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic overall shape, moving from an opening position to reasons, a paragraph on shorter holidays, and a summary. Linking phrases such as “The first reason,” “For instance,” and “In summary” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the list of different holidays interrupts the point about attendance, and the sentence beginning “If countries decide to develop another system” does not clearly connect to the preceding argument. The conclusion also introduces “reasonable vacations” without explaining how this relates to the earlier position. Organise each paragraph around one main idea, then use clear references and transitions to show how each example supports it.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “education standards,” “national progress,” and “education departments,” and you use some less common expressions. However, word choice, spelling, and collocation errors are frequent enough to make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Examples include “vocations” for holidays, “the significant lost,” “bost,” and “wrost problem.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “invest them into positive attitudes” and “made a sense of self-responsibility.” Build accuracy by learning common collocations for education and holidays, and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer precise, familiar expressions over ambitious phrases whose meaning is unclear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, so there is some variety in sentence structure. However, control is inconsistent, particularly with agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “the average attendence … is about 150 to 170 maximum days” is not formed clearly, while “shorter school hoildays was” and “many nations has” show subject–verb agreement problems. The opening sentence, “They closed their schools for a long term durations,” also has an unclear grammatical structure. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and use shorter, complete sentences before adding subordinate clauses.
