Student answer (Band 5.0)
Society is divided into altruistic and egocentric mind-sets of people. Although some masses hold this viewpoint that in several nations, primary and secondary schools shut down for two months or more in the summer holidays because of unlock other abilities, I believe in shorter school holidays holds more importance.
On the one hand, one of the main point why some people in the favor of former statement is unlock other abilities. This is due to fact that when students spend their a lot of time at their home they attracted to other activities and generate interest in games. Scholars are able to feel their aim for future and set target in their leisure time and manifest it. For examples, in mostly areas education president allow rule to increment in days of holidays which is advantageous for students adopt new skills. As a result, this is significant to spend time with themselves.
On the other hand, one of the major point in the favor of latter statement is improve their discipline. This means that when student utilized their most of time at school, they become very disciplined and done any kind of work in accurate way. Another significant point in the its favor is connection with study which means that students feel connective when they spend short time in holidays and become more creative. They stay focus on studies.
To conclude, it is clear from above mentioned point that latter statement holds more importance because of improve their discipline and connection with studies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions and give a clear preference for shorter holidays in the opening and conclusion. The response also identifies a relevant value of long breaks—students can explore interests and develop skills—and offers reasons for shorter breaks, including discipline and continued connection with study. However, these ideas remain limited and are not supported with clear, specific examples; the reference to education authorities increasing holiday days is difficult to understand. The explanation of how shorter holidays improve creativity is also unclear. The response contains 243 words, so it is 7 words below the 250-word minimum; the 9 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop each argument with a concrete example and explain the link to your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting opposing views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude” help readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several links between ideas are unclear. For example, “For examples” introduces a point about education presidents changing holiday days, but its connection to students developing skills is not explained. Repeated phrases such as “one of the main point” and “one of the major point” also make the organisation feel formulaic. Use clearer topic sentences, then develop each point in a logical sequence with specific supporting details and more precise referencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and personal development, including “discipline,” “leisure time,” “manifest,” and “creative.” However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “point,” “time,” and “students,” and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “unlock other abilities,” “feel their aim for future,” and “connection with study” are not natural expressions in this context. “Altruistic and egocentric mind-sets” is also an unnecessarily abstract opening that does not clearly introduce the holiday debate. Aim for precise, natural phrases such as “develop new skills,” “identify future goals,” and “maintain continuity in their learning.” Check collocations and word forms when revising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some complex sentence attempts, including “Although some masses hold this viewpoint…” and “This means that when student utilized their most of time at school…”. However, these structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “one of the main point” instead of a plural noun, “when students spend their a lot of time” with incorrect word order, and “they become very disciplined and done any kind of work,” where the verb forms do not agree. Articles, plurals, and sentence construction also need attention. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses; proofread each sentence for subject–verb agreement and consistent verb forms.
