Student answer (Band 5.0)
Education plays a crucial role in the character development of a child. Especially, primary and secondary education. In summer, moslty schools allow childern to come school for summer camps. Where as, other schools give completely freedom to enjoy their vacations so that, they can rest and can learn more activites. These summer vacations are quite long.
Often it is argued that, the duration of summer holidays should be decrease beacuse according to parents, instead of learning, children prefers to play games and they usually just waste their time. Moreover, after holidays moslty children forget basic ethics especially, primary block kids. For instance, they forget how they used to communicate to their teacher.
Smilarly, according to parents, childern can only learn in schools. At home, they do not even listen to their parents. They just want to play games. Additionaly, research shows that in summer vacation, childern mostly spend their time on phone. So student should be in touch with school. Instead of physicall classes, school faculty can arrange online classes. Moverover they can give task to student that should check in trice in a month.
In a nutshell, longer school vacations have bad effect on student character and it's skill. So instead of closing school consistentaly, two month, they should arrange weekend classes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You identify arguments for shorter holidays, including children spending time on games or phones and the possibility of online lessons. However, the task asks about both the value of long holidays and the case for shorter ones, and the first part is barely addressed: rest and learning activities are mentioned, but their benefits are not explained. The response therefore covers the task only partially, and the final claim that long holidays harm children’s character is not supported with developed reasoning. The response is also 37 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to explain both sides. Develop each part with a clear reason and a relevant example, and state your overall view directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting concerns about long holidays, and a concluding sentence. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For instance,” and “In a nutshell” help signal relationships between ideas. However, the overall progression is limited because most of the body focuses on arguments for shorter holidays, while the value of long holidays is not given its own developed section. Some connections are unclear, such as the move from children forgetting “basic ethics” to forgetting how to communicate with a teacher. The conclusion introduces weekend classes without clearly connecting this proposal to the preceding discussion. Organise the essay around the two questions and make each paragraph’s central point explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “character development,” “summer vacations,” “online classes,” and “research,” and the reader can generally understand your main points. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “give completely freedom,” “physicall classes,” and “bad effect on student character.” Repeated use of “children,” “school,” and “play games” also restricts variety. Aim for accurate, natural phrases such as “provide children with complete freedom,” “in-person lessons,” and “a negative effect on students’ development.” Check spelling carefully and use more precise vocabulary to distinguish the benefits of long breaks from the drawbacks.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “because according to parents” and a sentence introduced by “So,” but the range remains limited and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors include “the duration … should be decrease,” “children prefers,” and “student should be in touch,” where verb forms or agreement are incorrect. Sentence fragments such as “Especially, primary and secondary education” and “Where as, other schools…” also interrupt the flow. Articles, plurals, and punctuation are inconsistent, as in “in summer vacation” and the comma after “argued that.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and verb forms before submitting.
