Student answer (Band 5.0)
The countries around the world has varitions in seasons, winter and summer. So the countries having long summer season, gives two and more months holidays in summer season to primary and secondary school students and vise versa. As due to extreme hot and cold seasons the temperature has wide variations. So the students of below higher schools can face many health issues which might lead to serious emergency.
The primary and secondary schools has students below the age the 15 years, which might has many health issues. As countries having long hot summer season have extremly high temperature, so the students below face heat stroke, dehydration and multiple healths problems. The countries having longer winter seasons the temperatue might drop below 0 degree has long winter holidays. While the major reason is health issue, so to overecome this issue the developing countries needs high recoures ,such as air condition in school and buses while in summer, on the other hand in winter they need to maintain room temperature in eduactional instiutes and traving services. The long holiday many relase the economic pressure during these holidays, the parents might not to pay bus charge, pocket money to their child or childrens.
As according to my point of view, the schools having shorter holiday have varity of advantages they can complete their whole course in depth, more-over the student keeps in touch with their studies. Futhermore, the childrens below make a lot of noise at home so the parents may feel relaxed while their child are at home.
In conclusion, i can say that schools should have holidays in extreme hot and cold season to overcome health issues

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you explain the value of longer breaks through concerns about heat, cold and students’ health, and you give reasons for shorter holidays, including keeping students engaged with their studies. However, the response only partially develops the task. The discussion of shorter holidays is brief, and the claim that children make “a lot of noise at home” is not explained or supported. Your position is also not fully consistent: you describe benefits of shorter breaks, but conclude that schools “should have holidays in extreme hot and cold season” without clarifying how long they should be. Develop each argument with a clear explanation or example, and state your overall view more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the opening introduces seasonal conditions, the next section discusses health and costs, and a later paragraph turns to shorter holidays before the conclusion. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. For example, the discussion moves from health risks to the cost of air conditioning and then to parents’ expenses without showing how these points connect. Linking phrases such as “So,” “As,” and “While” are repeated or used in ways that do not clearly express the relationship between sentences. Paragraphing would be more effective if each paragraph focused on one main argument, with supporting explanation grouped beneath it. Use clearer transitions and refer back to the question’s two sides explicitly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “heat stroke,” “dehydration,” “economic pressure,” and “temperature,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to read, such as “varitions,” “extremly,” “recoures,” and “eduactional instiutes.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “the countries having long summer season” and “the long holiday many relase the economic pressure.” Aim for accurate collocations and forms, such as describing “countries with prolonged hot summers” and explaining that a break “may reduce household expenses.” Proofreading spelling and choosing precise expressions would make your arguments clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “As” and “While,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent in “The countries around the world has” and “schools has students”; verb forms are also problematic in “the parents might not to pay.” Articles, plurals and sentence boundaries need attention, as in “below the age the 15 years” and the run-on transition from “healths problems” to “The countries.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check agreement, verb patterns and punctuation.
