Student answer (Band 4.5)

Some countries, primary and higher level schools close for eight weeks or extra in the summer vacations. the price of extra vacations and some people are says short trem vacations. I am totally agree to short trem holiday are benefical to students, because the student went to schools short trem holidays, they are nothing remove in har mind.

Some countries, schools are not open on time from holidays, primary and secondary schools are both apply these rule, some people argue that the school remain close at two month after vacations, student interest about study is poor, because student went school after vacation they became excited, but some countries does not open a school, student remove everything in mind. So, school open on time, they are very beneficial for student, they can attend the class physical and buikd there condidance and other activity can proform in school such as lab experiement and social event can perfromed, and bulid her skills.

In contraste, the value of long holidays at school, some little bit benefit, although the student a much relaxed after summer vacation, and added two month extra holiday, the student learn at home with help of computer and social media account, and present should watching here children during the study time, the school provide a online classses to her student, than the student can not remove any think in on mind, and better for him.

in conclusion, the long holiday and short holidays are both condition valuable on other other perposes. long holiday are provide online classes and teach her there student. whereas, the short trem vacation are benefical for student, because student attend the classes physical. both are good for student.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You take a position in favour of shorter holidays and mention relevant benefits, including students attending lessons in person and developing confidence and skills. You also identify possible value in longer breaks, such as relaxation and learning at home. However, the task is only partially addressed: the benefits of long holidays and the case for shorter ones are not clearly separated or explained in enough detail. Some claims are difficult to interpret, such as students “remove everything in mind,” and the conclusion says both options are valuable without clarifying your overall judgement. Develop each side with a clear reason and a specific example, then maintain a consistent position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

Your response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “In contraste” and “in conclusion” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, the progression between ideas is often unclear. The second paragraph moves from school opening dates to students’ interest, then to confidence and activities without clear links. The paragraph beginning “In contraste” is also difficult to follow because the benefits of long holidays and online classes are mixed together. Some linking phrases are inaccurate or repetitive, and references such as “they” and “her” do not always make clear who is meant. Give each paragraph one main purpose and connect each supporting point explicitly to it.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary related to the topic, including “summer vacations,” “social event,” “lab experiment” and “online classes,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and many word choices, collocations and spellings make meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “short trem vacations,” “remove everything in mind,” “present should watching” and “perfromed.” Repetition of “student,” “holiday” and “beneficial” also limits precision. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and word forms; for example, use “retain what they have learned” rather than “remove everything in mind.” More accurate, natural phrasing would make your ideas much clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses with “because” and “although,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction frequently make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “I am totally agree” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “some people are says” combines incompatible forms. In “the student went to schools short trem holidays,” the relationship between the clauses is unclear. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, particularly at sentence beginnings. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with one subordinate clause. Check subject–verb agreement and verb forms before adding more complex structures.
