Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

The response makes a limited attempt to address the topic: it mentions that holidays can provide entertainment and time with family, and suggests that a month-long break may be preferable. However, it does not explain the value of long holidays or give any arguments for shorter holidays in a developed way. The claim that holidays cause “a great lose” to young people’s careers is unclear and unsupported, and no relevant examples are provided. Your position is only partly discernible from “I farmily belived that,” so the reader cannot confidently understand your view. The response is also substantially below the required length, leaving both parts of the question largely unanswered. Develop each part with clear reasons and examples, then state your position explicitly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to move from a general statement about holidays to a possible disadvantage and then to a benefit, using “However” to signal a contrast. This gives the reader a small amount of direction. However, the ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the relationship between the claim about career loss and the recommendation for a month of holidays is difficult to follow. The opening sentence about vacations lasting “almost 200 days in a year” also does not clearly connect to the rest of the response. Because the answer is very brief, there is little progression or development. Organise the response into an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two sides, and a conclusion, using linking phrases to show how each reason supports your point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “vacations,” “primary and higher secondary schools,” “entertainment,” and “family members.” These choices show awareness of the subject, and the reader can identify the general topic despite frequent spelling and word-choice problems. However, the range is narrow and several expressions are difficult to understand or unnatural, such as “a great lose of our young generaton career” and “in the hot season.” Spelling errors such as “acadamic,” “contemparory,” and “numerious” also reduce clarity. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing educational breaks, learning, family time, and childcare, and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts both simple statements and a contrast introduced by “However,” but sentence structures are mostly basic and control is inconsistent. For example, “the vacations in all acadamic institute almost 200 days in a year” lacks a clear verb, while “numerious countries around the global gives” has problems with sentence structure and subject–verb agreement. The fragment “I farmily belived that. should be give a month vacations” also makes the intended recommendation difficult to follow. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including the lowercase start “the main value” and the full stop after “that.” Practise complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use accurate agreement, articles, and punctuation before attempting longer structures.
