Holidays are a part of recreation and a source of system reboot for whole body that hold great significance for unwinding from normal routines. Primary and secondary schools have two month summer holidays for children that gives them chance to take a break from similar hectic routine.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses both questions: it explains the value of longer breaks through rest, family visits and opportunities to develop hobbies, then gives a case for shorter holidays by linking extended free time with boredom and reduced motivation. These are relevant ideas, and the examples of visiting relatives and attending sports camps help make the benefits more concrete. However, the argument for shorter holidays is less fully developed: it mainly describes possible drawbacks of long breaks, without explaining clearly how shorter breaks would improve learning or routines. The conclusion offers a general preference for holidays that include recreation and creativity, but does not state a clear, fully supported view on the ideal duration. Develop this comparison more explicitly and extend the less-developed points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure, moving from an introduction to the benefits of long holidays, the case for shorter breaks, and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader distinguish the two sides, and signposts such as “For instance,” “Moreover,” and “On the contrary” show the intended relationships between ideas. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. The opening of the fourth paragraph, “Longer holidays where support recreation and values,” is difficult to connect to the following contrast, and the conclusion does not clearly resolve the comparison established in the body. There are also places where ideas run together, such as “relations.Moreover.” Use clearer sentence boundaries and more precise references, and make the progression from each claim to its explanation more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response uses a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “unwinding,” “hectic routine,” “procrastination,” “productivity,” and “social skills.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic vocabulary, and the main meaning is generally understandable. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “a source of system reboot,” “build new hobbies,” “spend more times,” and “deeper sense of relations.” Spelling slips including “instane,” “hat,” and “woud” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural combinations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “a chance to recharge,” “develop new hobbies,” and “strengthen family relationships.” More precise vocabulary would make the argument sound clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
There is an attempt to use both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “where,” “that,” and “while,” and the overall message remains understandable. Some sentences are controlled, such as “For instance, during longer holidays, extensive free time can result in students being bored.” However, errors in agreement, articles, sentence construction and punctuation occur in several places. For example, “Long school holidays gives” should use a plural verb, while “that gives them chance” needs a clearer grammatical structure and an article before “chance.” The sentence beginning “Where long holidays support mind refresh” is also awkwardly formed, and missing spaces after full stops make some boundaries unclear. Review subject–verb agreement, article use and sentence boundaries, while continuing to practise complex clauses.
