Outline
1.Introduction
2.Long holidays
3.Short holidays
4.Conclusion
In many countries, primary and secondary schools close for two months or more in the summer holidays. These both ways are better in thier own way but both have some disadvantages. In my opinion, long holidays are more good than the short holidays.
First of all, wee see in some countries the summer holidays are very long these are very useful because during this the childrens are enjoying and feel relaxing in this time. The summer holidays are very important for the students because they very tired to study and rest are very necassery thing for these students. For example, in Pakistan the summer holidays are very long because in some places are very hot and temperature in the summer are arrive at 50 degree and this time the families are go to visit cold places.
Secondly, the short holidays are important in his way because due to long holidays students rhythem are break. Moreover, due to long holidays students do not take interest in his study. Due to short short holidays the syllabus of the students complete more fastly than the long holidays. In addition to this, parents do not need a long term childcare. For example, in some countries where summer holidays are short in this country children learn his lesson more fastly and don;t forgetten.
In conclusion, long holidays are more important in some places because of the climate. Futher more, in my opinion long holidays are important for the ethical point of view.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions and give a clear preference for long holidays, with relevant points about rest, hot weather in Pakistan, interrupted study routines, syllabus completion and childcare. However, the arguments are brief and often asserted rather than explained: for instance, the claim that short holidays help students learn faster needs a clearer explanation or example. The conclusion introduces “the ethical point of view,” which has not been developed and does not clearly support your position. The response also does not meet the 250-word minimum: it contains 237 words, with 17 words copied from the prompt excluded from the count. Develop each main point with explanation and a specific example, and make sure the conclusion reflects the reasons discussed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “First of all,” “Secondly,” and “In addition to this” help show the intended structure. However, the outline at the beginning is unnecessary, and progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. The second paragraph moves from students losing their study rhythm to syllabus completion and childcare without explaining how these points connect. Repetition, including “short short holidays” and repeated use of “due to long holidays,” also makes the linking mechanical. Organise each body paragraph around one main argument, then explain and illustrate it before moving to the next point. Use pronouns and linking phrases only where their references are clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “summer holidays,” “temperature,” “childcare” and “syllabus,” so the main ideas can generally be understood. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts difficult to follow. Examples include “more good,” “the childrens are enjoying,” “students rhythem are break,” and “learn his lesson more fastly.” Spelling errors such as “necassery,” “Futher” and “don;t” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural phrases for discussing education and holidays, and check word forms, spelling and collocations. For example, describe students as needing “time to rest and recharge,” and say that a routine “is disrupted” rather than that it “is break.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the examples introduced with “because” show an effort to explain causes. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement and articles, sometimes making meaning hard to follow. For example, “the summer holidays are very long these are very useful” joins two clauses without suitable punctuation or a connector, while “the families are go to visit” uses an incorrect verb form. In “students do not take interest in his study,” the pronoun does not agree with the plural subject. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected reason or example, and check subject–verb agreement and verb forms before submitting.
