In numerous nations, primary and secondary educational institutions grant students a break of two months or longer during the academic year. While these break can offer a notable psychological and developmental benefits in the children. After many month's spending in schedules, examinations, assignments, the children deserves this break for mental relaxation and to learn different practical skills.

The students usually go on summer holiday's with their families, it's a great break to spend time with there families. Many children also use this opportunity to pursue there interest, some goes on holidays, some joins summer camp or learn some practical skills which they can never experience in class. The breaks allow the children to just relax, recharge there minds and to avoid academic burnout.

The longer break also have many disadvantages. After the summer break when children get back to school, the teachers have to spend more time in reviewing old material with children. Additionally, the longer summer breaks is also very difficult for working parents, The childcare expense would be a extra burden on them.

In conclusion, while the long school holidays are valuable for preventing a burnout and encouraging personal and practical growth which students don't learn in classes. Shorter holidays also offer significant benefits in continuous learning, knowledge and also striking a balance working life for parents. Ultimately, a balanced calender for children throughout the year will be much better for learning and growth while still allowing adequate amount of rest to keep up with the modern educational system.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions and maintain a balanced position: long breaks support rest, family time and practical activities, while shorter breaks can help maintain learning and ease childcare pressures. These are relevant points, and the conclusion recommends a balanced calendar. However, some ideas are asserted rather than explained. For example, you mention that children can attend camps or learn practical skills, but do not give a specific example of what they might learn or why this is valuable. The case for shorter holidays is also less developed: the effect of reviewing old material and the childcare burden are identified, but their consequences could be explained more fully. Develop each main point with a reason or example to make the response more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate discussion of the benefits and disadvantages of long holidays, and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress in a sensible order, and linking expressions such as “Additionally” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, cohesion is sometimes awkward or mechanical. The opening sentence beginning “While these break…” is incomplete, and the next sentence does not connect smoothly to it. The list of activities (“some goes on holidays, some joins summer camp”) also interrupts the flow. Use complete topic sentences and connect examples explicitly to the point they support. Clearer references and more varied transitions would make the progression easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “psychological,” “practical skills,” “academic burnout,” “childcare expense” and “continuous learning.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the topic beyond basic terms, and the main meaning is generally clear. However, several word-choice, spelling and collocation errors reduce precision: “there families” and “there interest” should be “their families” and “their interests,” while “a extra burden” is not idiomatic. Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “spending in schedules” and “striking a balance working life.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations of words and check possessives and spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help express the benefits and drawbacks with greater clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional-style explanation of what children may experience outside class and a concluding sentence that contrasts rest with learning. The overall message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation. For example, “While these break can offer…” is a dependent clause without a main clause, and “the children deserves” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. In “The longer break also have many disadvantages,” the verb does not agree with the singular subject. Commas are also used where a full stop or conjunction is needed, as in “with their families, it's a great break.” Review clause structure and agreement, then proofread punctuation while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
