Its a dicussion about the school sectors regarding the timelimit of the vacations about various countries. schools plays an important role in our life that help us to develop our innate skiils which helps us to become a successful person in our life.

The value of long school holidays are very essential in todays life ,basically it depends on person to person ,majority of parents are not satisfied with the long school vacations ,because they think its a wastage of time of our children , and the children are out of focused to their studies , they cannot pay attention properly to their school vacation tasks , there are focused only with games acitivites,

after completing their vacations when they go to their schools they face hurdles with the school routines ,many of the students cannont come properly to schools after their long time vacation, thats why majority of the parents complaint about this.some of the parents are favour to long vacations because they visited abroad for exploring various culture with their children.

many of the parents are fully appreciated with the shorter schools holidays ,the concept of shorter holidays are arrived for the requesting of the partents ,because in long vacations they also pay the all months fees ,even their children is in homes for doing their homework by yourself ,through shorter holidays parents feel relaxed and they have no worries about their child tasks and routines ,also the discipline remains same in summer vacations .

I believe that longer holidays are not good for the childrens because now a days children easily get distracted with their goals ,so shorter holidays is good ,owing to children feel relaxed and enjoy their holidays properly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions and give a clear preference for shorter holidays in the final paragraph. Relevant points include children losing focus or struggling to return to school routines, and families using longer breaks to travel and experience other cultures. However, the discussion is uneven: the value of long holidays is mostly presented through parents’ concerns, while the benefit of travel is only briefly mentioned. The case for shorter holidays focuses on fees, homework and maintaining discipline, but these points are not explained with specific examples or clear cause-and-effect reasoning. To strengthen the response, explain the educational or wellbeing benefits of a long break, then develop the practical advantages of shorter breaks and support each with a concrete example. Your position would also be clearer if stated in the introduction and maintained consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an identifiable overall shape: an introduction, a paragraph about long holidays, one about shorter holidays, and a concluding opinion. This gives the reader a basic route through the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long, loosely connected sentences. For example, the paragraph on long holidays moves from parents’ concerns to children’s focus, school routines and overseas travel without clear transitions. Linking phrases such as “because,” “also” and “that’s why” are repeated or used where the relationship between ideas is not fully clear. Use one main point per sentence, organise each body paragraph around a clear topic sentence, and use referencing such as “this concern” to connect explanations without repeating the same wording.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “school routines,” “discipline,” “distracted” and “exploring various culture,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, which sometimes makes the reader work to interpret your meaning. Examples include “out of focused,” “a wastage of time,” “fully appreciated with” and “complaint about this.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “skiils,” “acitivites” and “partents” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural phrases for discussing education and family life, and check spelling and collocations when editing. More precise wording would help you express the contrast between the two holiday arrangements clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas using subordinate clauses and reasons, for example, “because they think…” and “when they go to their schools,” but sentence structures are often incomplete or difficult to control. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “schools plays” and “the children is in homes”; articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “the childrens.” Several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation, particularly in the long-holiday paragraph, making relationships between clauses unclear. The response relies heavily on simple patterns and repeated “because” clauses, with limited evidence of accurate complex structures. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas using controlled clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, articles, plural forms and sentence boundaries during revision.
