Student answer (Band 5.0)
Education is the backbone of success and school is the first step towards success. Child's primary and secondary performance decide more than fifty percent of his future. In present ear, unfortunatelly due to some crucial reasons we are not taking this key factor as important as it should be. For few years school holidays have been becoming main topic of debate for student's performance particullary in developing countries. I partially agree students are not robot, they also need rest but the rest should be for a shorter not unnecessary and shorter period should also be utilized in a productive way. If every school is compelled by government to shut down for two months than they should have effective back plan for this to overcome the weakness of their students. As we are living in modern era of technology. School authorities must use online platforms to engage their students with teachers and faculty during the holidays because they must not be keep their students purely issolated from teachers and schooling for such a long period. Due to untouched with teachers for long, students lack attention towards studies as well as many behaviourally changes. Morever, I also in a favor not to allow more than one month summer holidays as government should make arrangements in school to overcome temperature issue as compared to let students stay at home for sixty days. Additionally what academic plans and co-curricual activities students can follow at home, cannot be implement at every home. The basic reason is every home has different level of knowledge to inject in their childrens. As numereous number of parents are job holders, they cannot concentrate on child all the day as academically required..Due to this they have to pay additional pennies to home tutors. However, not all the parents can afford expensive tutors and co-curricular activities for priavte sites. To wrap up Thus, primary and secondary school childrens are hardly three to fifteen years old childrens, during this age every child need special attention because its a major age of learning. So government must make policies to overcome this crucial situation. Either shorter the holidays or make effective plans to enagage every student with schools during holidays. The policies should be implement to public and private schools equallly.Because this issue is highlighted mostly for the public sector school in most developing countries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a position that holidays should be shorter, or that schools should provide plans to keep students engaged, and you give relevant reasons: students may lose focus, working parents cannot supervise them, and tutoring can be costly. These points show an attempt to address the question. However, the value of long holidays is only briefly acknowledged in “students are not robot, they also need rest”; this part needs fuller explanation, such as how a longer break supports rest, family time, or independent interests. The response also shifts between shortening holidays and keeping them long but adding online activities, so your position is not consistently defined. Develop both sides directly, then state clearly which approach you support and why.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a recognisable overall direction: you introduce the issue, present reasons for shorter holidays, and end with a recommendation. However, the response is largely one continuous paragraph, so the reader has little help distinguishing the value of long breaks from arguments for shorter ones. Several ideas are joined in long, crowded sentences, and transitions such as “Additionally,” “However,” and “To wrap up” do not always make the relationship between points clear. The discussion also moves from online learning to temperature, then parental supervision and tutoring without a clear sequence. Use separate paragraphs for each side and a conclusion, and make each paragraph develop one main point with clear links between examples and claims.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “co-curricular activities,” “academic plans,” “government,” and “public and private schools,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “students,” “school,” and “success,” while several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make meaning less clear. For example, “back plan” is not the intended phrase, “untouched with teachers” is an awkward collocation, and “additional pennies” is unsuitable for the cost of tutoring. Spelling errors such as “unfortunatelly,” “particullary,” and “isolated” also reduce control. Build a more precise vocabulary for educational benefits and costs, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “because” and “as,” and the main message is generally recoverable. However, complex sentences are often faulty or overloaded, which sometimes makes the relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “Child's primary and secondary performance decide” and “they must not be keep their students,” where agreement and verb forms are inaccurate. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “every child need special attention” and the fragment “As we are living in modern era of technology.” Aim for shorter, complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses carefully. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and punctuation when editing.
