Student answer (Band 5.0)
From recent years to today's age of rapid scientific and technological advancement in all around the world both primary and secondary schools close for more than two months for summer holidays which has considrable attention and a greate discussion which i will explain more broadly in upcomming paragraphs.
There are many viewpoints to consider.First and formost,it is often argued that the importance of long school vecations become a trend around the globe which make student relaxed from their study.A case in point is countries which give long vacations make their study plan so desplined and well organized which make them successfull in education sectors.Consequently,it is clear that most of the countries closes during summer holidays.
Beyond this, those countries which on the side of shorter school holidays around the globe goes through the unorganized study planed and burden on student during their study which make them lazy and suffer from mental stress. For instant, student who do not have the time for sleeping and have stress of study and daily classes make him mentally depressed person in society. It is therefore evident that on the side of less school vecations became a reason for rise of stress in youth of society and problem for future generation.
In conclusion, although shorter school holidays can be cause of high competition of education but also become a problem for furture generation, So i remined convinced that longer school holidays for both primery and secondary schools during summer help student get more relaxed and attached to the outer world for explore nature .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear preference for longer holidays in the conclusion and attempt to discuss both the value of long breaks and arguments for shorter ones. However, the task is only partly addressed: the benefits of long holidays are mainly described as helping students relax, while the claim that countries with long breaks have organised study plans and succeed is not explained or supported. The shorter-holiday paragraph focuses on stress and poor planning, but does not explain the main case for shorter breaks, such as maintaining learning continuity or reducing learning loss. Your position is therefore clearer at the end than throughout, and the ideas remain limited and under-developed. Develop each side with a specific reason and a relevant example, then make your position consistent from the introduction onward.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two positions, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: for example, the link between long holidays, an organised study plan, and educational success is asserted rather than shown. Connectors such as “Beyond this,” “Consequently,” and “It is therefore evident” are used, but some do not accurately express the relationship between the ideas, and the conclusion introduces a new point about exploring nature. Several sentences also contain multiple ideas without clear punctuation, making the argument harder to follow. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then explain and illustrate it in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “mental stress,” “education sectors,” “competition,” and “future generation,” and the reader can generally identify the subject of your argument. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “vecations,” “desplined,” “successfull,” and “remined”; phrases such as “attached to the outer world for explore nature” are also unclear and unnatural. Some expressions are repeated, particularly references to stress and future generations, rather than using precise alternatives. Build a reliable set of collocations for education and holidays, and check spelling and word forms. Prefer clear, accurate phrases over ambitious wording that does not convey the intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt longer sentences and use clauses to explain causes and consequences, but complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “which make student relaxed” has problems with agreement and article use, while “most of the countries closes” has a subject–verb agreement error. The sentence beginning “For instant, student who do not have the time…” shifts from plural “student” to singular “him” and is not clearly constructed. Punctuation and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, especially where several clauses run together. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled relative clauses and cause-and-effect structures. Check agreement, articles, plurals, and punctuation during revision.
