Student answer (Band 4.5)
The primary or the secondary schooling are being closed in the month of the summer or for two months in this upcoming paragraph we will discuss related to this about what reasons this holidays are given in many different countries.
The reason behind is very suspious because there are rules snd regulations are partially different in other countries. The holidays are given to the sudent in my country is about that there are many exams in the whole acamedic year differents semisters exams are orginised in the primary and secondary school the due to the high pressure and the headack taken by the students of the school to give realif from the stress this holidays are given. There are value of long school holidays is being going in the many different countries since the 1989.
There are arguments taken in the in the favour for the shorter holidays. The holiday should be longer in the summer or winter season because the winter comes six month of the acamedic and the summer comes eleven month.I prefures the long holiday but ithe arguments taken by the parents that the long holidays given by the school is the big disturbence for the syllabus. That the long sylabus is going on the school is very long and the students cant manage in the long holiday. They don't even practice at home.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You make an attempt to address both questions: you mention that holidays can relieve students’ exam pressure and that parents worry about long breaks disrupting syllabus coverage. These are relevant starting points, but the value of long holidays and the case for shorter ones are only minimally explained. For example, the claim that holidays have existed “since the 1989” does not explain their value, and the argument about students not practising at home needs a clearer link to shorter breaks. Your position is also difficult to identify: you say you prefer long holidays, but do not explain how you weigh this against the arguments for shorter ones. The response is below the required 250 words, which further limits the development of your ideas. Add specific explanations and examples for both sides.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the topic, and later paragraphs discuss reasons for holidays and arguments about shorter breaks. This gives the reader some indication of the intended structure. However, ideas are not arranged coherently within the paragraphs, and the progression between points is difficult to follow. For instance, the statement about different country rules is not connected clearly to the explanation about exams, while the reference to seasons and months appears without a clear relationship to the argument. Linking phrases such as “The reason behind” and “There are arguments” are repetitive or unclear, and some references, including “this holidays,” are hard to interpret. Use one paragraph for each question, develop one main point at a time, and connect each explanation explicitly to the task.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “exams,” “academic year,” “pressure,” “stress,” “syllabus,” and “arguments,” so the general subject is recognisable. However, the range is basic and several words or phrases are repeated, such as “long holidays” and “school.” Frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices—such as “suspious,” “headack,” “realif,” and “disturbence”—make parts of the response difficult to understand. Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “the headack taken by the students” and “the big disturbence for the syllabus.” Aim to learn accurate topic vocabulary and common collocations, then check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you explain the benefits and drawbacks without relying on repeated general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to express connected ideas using longer sentences, but control of sentence structure is limited, and errors frequently make the meaning unclear. For example, “The primary or the secondary schooling are being closed” has problems with the subject and verb, while “the holidays are given to the sudent in my country is about that” combines clauses without a clear grammatical structure. There are also problems with articles, plurals, verb forms, and punctuation, including missing spaces after full stops. Most sentences would benefit from being divided into shorter, complete statements. Practise forming a clear subject–verb–object sentence first, then add a reason using “because” or an example using “for instance.” This will make your ideas easier to follow while you build confidence with more complex structures.
