Student answer (Band 4.5)

For many countries few things are crucial than closing primary school and secondary school in summer holidays. In many developed and developing countries ,a substaintial amount of money is allocated to vacations to improve this issues.

This often necessiatities the use of various resources such as camp. counselling and so on.

Neverthlessly ,i firmly agree that the primary goal of summer vacation is definately beneficial than doing harm.

Undoubtely, Summer vacations are helpful among the pupils because it helps them feel relaxed and refreshed after a long day of their studies or a hectic schedule.

There are lot of value why academic works are posponed in summer holiday...

Summer called the precious time when students can relieve for their extreme studyload

Summer is the only time ,they take a break from their busy study routine.Long vacation may have many advantages it makes the pupil more positive and productivity for their upcoming examination.

On the otherhand,Short time duration can make students life a little bit convenient and also make them felling worried about their upcoming test.

Student life is the best time but short vacations can not fullfill students visiting demant .

Moreover,Students always want to travel ,spend quality time with their family and friends but studyload can always make them pressurized and pused how to get busy with their study ...

As a result short time vacation always not a beneficial but long time vacation always beneficial for both stidents and their parents.

In conclusion, therev are a lot of responsibilities of a countries to evalute how to justify summer vacations .otherwise it can do harm than good

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You express a clear preference for long summer holidays, especially when you say they help pupils feel “relaxed and refreshed” and allow time away from a busy study routine. However, the response only partially answers the two questions. The value of longer holidays is mentioned, but the benefits are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with a relevant example. The discussion of shorter holidays is particularly unclear: you say they may make life “convenient,” then suggest they make students worried and prevent travel, without explaining the case in their favour. The opening comments about money and resources also do not clearly connect to the task. Develop both sides directly and explain how shorter breaks might, for example, reduce learning loss or help students retain a routine.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is an attempt to organise the response into an opening, two body sections and a conclusion, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help identify these parts. However, ideas are not consistently arranged in a clear progression. The opening shifts from school closures to money and resources without showing how these points relate, while the first body section repeats the idea of taking a break in several forms. The shorter-holiday paragraph contains conflicting or unexplained claims, so the reader cannot follow a clear argument. Some sentences are fragments, such as “Summer called the precious time,” and the ellipses interrupt the flow. Group each paragraph around one main point and use clear explanations to connect supporting details.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “relaxed and refreshed,” “study routine,” “upcoming examination” and “quality time.” These phrases show an effort to discuss students’ needs and the effects of holidays. However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice errors make the message difficult to read, including “substaintial,” “necessiatities,” “posponed,” “studyload” and “demant.” Some expressions are also unnatural or unclear, such as “short time duration” and “make them more positive and productivity.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. Replacing repeated general terms such as “good” or “beneficial” with precise descriptions of educational and personal effects would also strengthen the vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentence forms, including “Moreover, Students always want to travel, spend quality time with their family and friends but studyload can always make them pressurized,” and you use basic linking structures such as “because” and “as a result.” However, the range is limited, and frequent errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation sometimes make meaning hard to follow. For example, “it helps them feel relaxed” does not agree with the plural subject “vacations,” while “There are lot of value” is missing an article and has an unsuitable singular noun. Several sentence boundaries are unclear, and fragments such as “Summer called the precious time” are incomplete. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and punctuation.
