Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, many countries have two months or more summer holidays for primary and secondary students. . But some people says that this long gap can harm the learning consistency of many students. In my perspective that is beneficila for students health and refreshing mind for next semester syllabus.
We know that students are always fond of joy in holidays, they like to do everything they want in their holidays for refreshment. In summer season students are not willing to go school for warm weather and students may sometimes get sick for this , if the whole summer is a holiday then students not go to outside and also they are not fell in sick often. They can rest home and make there mind refresh for next semester preparation. Additionally the people disscuss about students consistency break for this holiday. Sometimes they are caought by more lazyness and also not willing to study at home , for this reason so many students get fail in exam or make a bad result. Although summer holidays is important but also need their study improvement for next exam. So every one should maintain a time limitation for the students to study atlast some hours in home in holidays for not break there consentrate and frequency in study and also need to disscuss education comitee for the students holiday maintainance system.
In conclusion, in my opinion , holidays are most important time for students to enjoy themselves and keep their mind fresh. Overall holiday is most valuable thing every students life so 2 months and more holidays is best .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions to some extent: you explain that long breaks allow students to rest and feel refreshed, and you mention the concern that a break can weaken study habits and affect exam results. Your view that holidays benefit students is also clear in the conclusion. However, the discussion of arguments for shorter holidays is not fully developed: the suggestion that students study for a few hours at home is a personal recommendation rather than a clear explanation of why shorter school holidays are advantageous. The health point is also general and needs a relevant example or explanation. Develop each side with specific reasons and support, then make your position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, a main discussion paragraph and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. Linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “Although” and “In conclusion” show an effort to connect ideas. However, the main paragraph moves quickly between enjoyment, hot weather, illness, laziness, exam results and a recommendation, without clear sequencing or enough separation between the two sides of the question. Some connections are difficult to follow, particularly “Although summer holidays is important but also need their study improvement.” Use one paragraph to explain the value of long holidays and another to present the case for shorter breaks. Make each paragraph’s main point clear and use linking phrases only where they accurately show the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “learning consistency,” “refreshment,” “preparation” and “exam results,” and the general meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “students are fond of joy,” “not willing to go school,” and “make there mind refresh.” Spelling errors such as “beneficila,” “disscuss,” “lazyness” and “consentrate” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing rest, learning and school schedules, and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer natural expressions over direct translations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional structure in “if the whole summer is a holiday then students not go to outside.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction can make ideas unclear. For example, “some people says” should use a plural verb, while “students may sometimes get sick for this” has an unclear grammatical connection. The opening also contains an extra full stop, and punctuation around clauses is inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses using correct verb forms and agreement. Proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb before adding further detail.
