Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this developing world, school children reading and practising high for achieving good grades in final exam so because lots of hard work and dedications children need to be relax on summer holidays. This gives there mind peace and they feel fully refreshed after holidays. In this essay we discuss the value of summer holidays and arguments in favour of shorter school holidays.
On the one hand, it is a good value for children to get holidays in summer vacation because it is very beneficial for there mental health and as well as physical health. It boost children growth in both way. Moreover, children feeling fully charged and refreshed after complete there vacation. For example, before summer vacation they worked hard for scoring good percentages and reading too much for remembering things so they need to break from studies and have little bit fun than they have to start again there school life. Overall, it impacts goods on children and help them to refocus on study.
On the other hand, school makes much longer holidays in present day such as, two moths or more than this. However, relaxing to much makes children lazy and careless for there studies. It impact harmful on children minds because after get 2 months vacations they only do fun activities so after finish holidays they get problems to focus on exam and on lecture.
In conclusion, it great idea to giving holidays vacation to children it impact good on there mind and they get the peace and refreshed, while giving longer holidays cause problems such as, children are feeling tired in lecture and not studies well. In my view of point, schools should give holidays around 21 days or 1 month because it is enough for children to refresh and fully charged mind or body.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: the first body paragraph explains that holidays allow children to rest and support their mental and physical health, while the next argues that long breaks can make it harder to return to lessons. Your final view—that a break of around three weeks to a month is sufficient—also gives the response a position. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The value of holidays is explained mainly through rest and recharging, and the case for shorter holidays would be stronger with a clearer explanation of how shorter breaks preserve learning or routines. The claim that children become “lazy and careless” is broad and needs a specific example or supporting reasoning. Develop each argument further and distinguish the benefits of a long break from those of a shorter one.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This makes the two sides of the question easy to identify. The ideas within the first body paragraph also move from rest to renewed focus on study. However, progression is sometimes mechanical, with repeated linking phrases such as “Moreover,” “For example,” and “Overall,” rather than clear connections between each claim and its explanation. Some references are unclear, as in “after complete there vacation,” and the conclusion repeats points already made without adding a concise synthesis. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between each reason, example, and result explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “mental health,” “physical health,” “refreshed,” “vacation,” and “focus on study.” There are also attempts to express cause and effect, such as saying that a long break can make it difficult to focus on lessons afterwards. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive: “good value,” “boost children growth,” “impacts goods,” and “fully charged” do not sound natural in these contexts. Spelling errors such as “moth” and repeated use of “there” for “their” also affect clarity. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing rest, learning continuity, and returning to school, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a contrast between the benefits of holidays and the drawbacks of extended breaks. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement appear in “It boost children growth” and “children feeling fully charged”; possessives and sentence patterns are also problematic in “after complete there vacation” and “it great idea to giving holidays.” These errors recur and sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Work on forming complete clauses with a clear subject and correctly conjugated verb, and practise possessive forms and infinitive or gerund patterns. Shorter, accurate sentences would help establish control before you add more complex structures.
